Pets and Dogs photography tips

I don't really feel there's a huge difference photographing domestic pets from normal portraits of people, other than the fact that it's easy to lose the detail in the dark coats of some animals. So I often use a fill flash just to add some more light.

As you'll see in this video, action shots can be challenging, I wouldn't expect to get great results straight away, it takes patience and perseverance. Also, as you'll see, even when you get a nice, well composed, in-focus image, the animal may be in a strange position or just not long his best.

It took me many attempts to get that last image, which I was pleased with, but I got there in the end!
